Dashing Santa

Dashing Santa was one of those impulse purchases in the Christmas sale last year. I brought it back home, put it into the cupboard, and forgot all about it…. seeing as it’s re-released in this year’s Christmas range, I thought it was about time I used mine.

Even after being stored for 9 and a bit months, the orange aroma comes wafting out of the bag. To start with, I didn’t really see why a Christmas bath bomb would be citrus scented, but it finally dawned on me that it’s the orange in the bottom of the Christmas stocking!

Dashing Santa fizzed away quite quickly, leaving a pleasantly orangey aroma. It wasn’t overpowering, but when you agitate the water, the citrussy scent is more apparent. The water turned a lovely shade of orange, which was surprising considering that the bath bomb looked more red than orange, but it matched the scent nicely.

At £2.95 this is one of the cheaper bath bombs, and although you don’t get much of a display while the bath bomb is fizzing away (there’s no colour changes like you get with Twilight), it does seem like one I would purchase again.
