I hadn’t realised just how many different types of bee there are, until I started 30 days wild – suddenly I was paying attention a little more, and noticing all their different colours and even shapes.
What I’d always thought of as a honeybee turned out to be a bumblebee, so I was determined to try and spot an actual honeybee.
I’m not actually certain that this was a honeybee – a lot of the photos of honeybees are taken from a better angle! However, after a while of looking through the bee photos on the UK Safari site, it looks the most likely.
