A relative told me to get my camera, as they thought they’d seen “two Buzzards” – it turned out it was actually two Red Kites circling in the distance!
….and I was lucky enough to get a few photos as they flew overhead! Apparently Red Kites are known to use old Buzzard nests, so I wonder if they’re looking for potential nesting sites, or just passing through en route to somewhere else?
