  • Robin

When the Robin seemed to pose for a photo, I asked a relative to guess what it was perched on. Can you guess? ….   ….   ….   I bet you didn’t guess it was perched on the top of a street light column? #30dayswild

  • Seagulls

The gull below is definitely a juvenile, although I’m not too sure which type of gull is actually is. I am pretty sure however, that this gull would be a Lesser Black Backed Gull as I’ve seen a similar one before (or maybe it’s the same gull).     #30dayswild

  • Low Flying Pigeons

If you take a walk through the city centre, you’re most likely to get an encounter with one of the pigeons. I’ve never understood why, but they seem to enjoy taking off and flying very close to people’s heads before heading to the roof of the nearby shops. #30dayswild

  • Mammatus clouds…. maybe?

Although I like taking photos of clouds, I’m a novice when it comes to identifying them. A relative reckoned this could be a Mammatus Cloud, but I haven’t been able to confirm that (yet).   #30dayswild

  • Magpies

There’s at least one Magpie family nearby, and they’ve taken a liking to particular trees. If you can’t see them, you can definitely hear them! #30dayswild

  • Crows

I need to read up on how to differentiate between the Crow family – I think this is a Carrion Crow, but I’m not too sure! #30dayswild

  • Mobbed by seagulls

I’m not 100% certain what bird this is – it looks like it should be a bird of prey, but there were varying suggestions from an Osprey to a pale-form Buzzard. The head colour, tail length and wing markings made me think maybe it wasn’t a Buzzard, but it wasn’t near enough to the coast to make…
