Not a particularly flattering angle, but I’m still working on my ‘birds in flight’ photo skills.
Admittedly not the clearest of photos, but it’s not every day you can spot a Kestrel diving down to the ground from here!
But not the animals, this is a wild flower called Fox and Cubs which was growing in what the council like to think of as a wildflower area (in reality it was just some long grass they hadn’t cut).
I’m sure someone would be able to tell me what kind of fly this is, but I’m just pleased the photo came out clearly, considering how breezy it was – the plant was waving about quite a bit at times.
I thought it was easier to practise photos of birds in flight with the crows – there’s more of them about.
Considering these photos were taken through the window, I think they came out really well 🙂
A change of scenery for today, this particular houseplant does look even better when the sunlight it on the flowers – unfortunately, today it was cloudy!
