Minerva’s Owls – Vincent Van Owl

The Owls will start to fly back to base this week, so they can be tidied up in time for the Owls Hoot Farewell weekend. I’ve still got several owl photos left to post, so these owls may not still be visible today.

Vincent Van Owl is certainly creative – he was perched outside Flamingo, on Widcome Parade.
He’s painted with the skyline of Widcombe, including St Matthew’s Church and (of course) was inspired by Starry Night by Vincent van Gogh.

Minerva’s Owls – Seemore

Seemore is perched at the front of the Holburne Museum – he might look ‘boring’ from a distance, but just try looking through his eyes….

…well actually looking through his eyes, everything just looked black! Not too sure what happened there, or if it was just massively out of focus (the wheels on the side are meant to be the focus for the eyes – I hadn’t realised that at the time).
I did, however, manage to get a neat reflection of what was behind me.
