Lot sixteen is Herbie, who was ‘hiding’ at Clark’s Village during the summer, so for a lot of people, the Owls Hoot Farewell was their first chance to see him.

Metro Owl is the fourteenth lot, and was (of course) perched outside the location of the new Metro Bank on the corner of Stall Street and SouthGate during the summer.

Unlucky for some, lot number thirteen in the Owl Auction is Octavius. Previously only visible as part of a window display, it was great to see Octavius out with the other owls at the Hoot Farewell weekend.

Trigformes was originally perched in Milsom Place, along with Night Owl who is also in the auction.

On to Lot #7 and it’s the Ys and Where 4s – this is another owl which was part of a competition over the summer; you had to figure out the owl’s real name, and also work out the owl’s father’s name.
The owl’s name has been solved, but you can still guess the owl’s father’s name – I guess they made it so fiendishly challenging, there aren’t many right answers yet!
