Gemini is the 27th lot in the Owl Auction, and could be found in Orange Grove during the summer. I had thought that Gemini looked a little ‘plain’ when I was doing the Owl Trail, but maybe that was down to the super strong sunlight, or the brown “grass” – at the Hoot Farewell Gemini looked perfectly coloured, and certainly didn’t look plain or boring.

One of the longer named owls is the 26th lot – Emma the Community Rail Owl, who (of course) was perched outside Bath Spa Station during the summer.

Getting close to half way through the lots, Artis is lot #25. Previously perched outside the Abbey Hotel, the Owls Hoot Farewell was my first chance to see the detail painted on the back, as it was a bit too busy to see the back when I was doing the Owl Trail itself.

Cumberwell Owl is up next, as lot number twenty one in the Owl Auction. As you might guess from the name, this owl was perched at Cumberwell Park during the summer.

Lot twenty in the Owl Auction is an owl who was perched just on the outskirts – Dr Tawny who spent the summer outside the Bath Clinic.
The amount of detail on Dr Tawny’s face is incredible, especially how the glasses really do look like they’re hooked over the beak!

George is next, as lot number nineteen. He was perched on top of the San Fransisco Fudge Factory near the Abbey during the summer, so the Hoot Farewell weekend was the first time people were able to see him up close.

Lot eighteen in the Owl Auction is my favourite – Festiv’owl. Covered with Horrible Histories cartoons, this is one of those owls where you can keep looking and noticing new details, no matter how many times you view it!
