Now the work on the old toll house has been completed, I noticed what looks like a ghost sign on the side…. my companion reckoned it just said “gent’s toilets”, but I’m not convinced!

Wow, what a thunderstorm that was! It’s the first time I’ve been able to get some photos of lightning, including this shot which looks like the lightning struck Solsbury Hill!

Following on from the blossom along Camden, I couldn’t resist taking a photo of this tree in Margaret’s Hill.

Sometimes it’s not the buildings that catch my eye, but a particularly stunning tree – this one was along Camden Road, and certainly brightened up a dull grey afternoon.

It’s obviously time to wave ‘bye bye’ to the fair – I spotted this ride being transported along the London Road today.

I’m not sure what this plant is, but it definitely looked photogenic with Claremont Church in the background.

Any frequent visitor to the Abbey Churchyard will no doubt recognise this skeleton, which is advertising for the Bizarre Bath evening walks. He’s been given a seasonal look, with a small cross and a display of daffodils in the bike’s basket.

Since the covering over the bridge between Homebase and Sainsbury’s was removed, you certainly get a better view of the river. Previous years people have spotted otters swimming in the river, but I’ve not managed to spot one yet.

Not the first scene that came to mind when I thought of heading down Milsom Street today, but I just had to stop and watch this chap playing the violin while walking up and down a tightrope today!
