…although down in Southgate, they’re all set up for the Day of the Dead

And the red bauble lookalike suspended under the lights in Milsom Street looks a lot better now it’s lit!

And I know it isn’t a photo of Christmas lights, but this is one of my favourite views to photograph in Bath. The palm trees in a garden opposite Camden Crescent seem to lend themselves to atmospheric photos looking across Bath.

The Corridor never fails with a suitably seasonal display, and maybe next year I’ll be able to get a better photo that shows more of the lights in one go.

Walking along Green Street, I spotted a Christmas display I must have walked past lots of times before and never noticed.

This was the display above the The Old Green Tree in Green Street, which just goes to show that if you don’t look up above the windows, there’s a lot of things you’re likely to miss!

I will admit this photo had to be mirrored, as I was facing the wrong direction to get the writing to show up clearly. Those light certainly look a lot fancier than the ones in the rest of the city.

Then on to York Street, where you can just about make our the moon glow above the market’s string of lights.

And finally, down to Southgate, to see the Christmas Market stalls, and the Southgate lights (which look somewhat fancier than those in the rest of the city!).

Love it or hate it, the Bath Christmas Market certainly provides some interesting photo opportunities.
