  • Peekaboo

Someone tell the Collared Doves that the bird house feeder is really meant for smaller birds…. #30dayswild

  • Stormy Clouds and rain rain rain

Yesterday’s storm was quite intense – no thunder or lightning, but plenty of threatening clouds, and definitely plenty of rain! ! #30dayswild

  • Multiple Magpies

Not to be outdone by yesterday’s Crows, the local Magpies were making a row too! I’m still not quite fast enough to get a clear photo of them as they land but one did sit and ‘pose’ in the tree for a while. #30dayswild

  • A Murder of Crows

The noise that accompanied the 12 Crows was intense – I can see why they’d be known as a Murder! #30dayswild

  • Big Fluffy Clouds

  • Robin

When the Robin seemed to pose for a photo, I asked a relative to guess what it was perched on. Can you guess? ….   ….   ….   I bet you didn’t guess it was perched on the top of a street light column? #30dayswild

  • Seagulls

The gull below is definitely a juvenile, although I’m not too sure which type of gull is actually is. I am pretty sure however, that this gull would be a Lesser Black Backed Gull as I’ve seen a similar one before (or maybe it’s the same gull).     #30dayswild

  • Another Day, Another Crow

  • Low Flying Pigeons

If you take a walk through the city centre, you’re most likely to get an encounter with one of the pigeons. I’ve never understood why, but they seem to enjoy taking off and flying very close to people’s heads before heading to the roof of the nearby shops. #30dayswild

  • Mammatus clouds…. maybe?

Although I like taking photos of clouds, I’m a novice when it comes to identifying them. A relative reckoned this could be a Mammatus Cloud, but I haven’t been able to confirm that (yet).   #30dayswild
