Spider Spotting

Today’s wild photo just goes to prove that you don’t need to set foot outside to see something wild – this little spider was crawling down the wall earlier today. Because I know some of my blog readers aren’t overly keen on arachnids, if you want to read the rest of this post (and see the photo), you need to click “read more” to continue!

Still here? That’s good 🙂 It wasn’t until I took the photo that I realise just how detailed the pattern on this little spider’s back was…. and when I saw little, I mean really little!

I’m pretty sure this is a Cavity Spider, which according to UK Safari, prefers dark and damp locations like cellars…. so I’m not too sure what it was doing in a room that isn’t damp! Maybe it had just come in through the window to shelter from the rain.
