We’ve seen a badger walking up the grassy pathway nearby on a number of evenings, and this is possibly part of its route from a local field.
The gap in the trees is just high enough for a badger to get through – not tall enough to fit a Roe Deer through, and certainly not large enough for a human to get through without pushing more branches away.
