Today is proving a great day for cloud watching. Some look quite ‘ordinary’ but like I found earlier in the week, there’s a few that look suitably unusual….
Such as this one, which seemed to have a shadow cast on it at the base of the photo – I’m guessing the sunlight was just strong enough at that point to make the shadow look so dark.
Then we have the ‘combination’ clouds, with a real mixture! Looking at the Met Office Cloud Identification page, it would appear to be a combination of cirrocumulus, altostratus and possibly stratus…. although I could be entirely wrong on that!
