Walking up Milsom Street today, they seem to be setting up some seating areas ready for the Car Free weekend. Not sure those seats look all that inviting though – they don’t seem overly comfy!
What better photo for Christmas Day than the December 25th store?
Unfortunately December 25th closed down on Saturday December 23rd – I wonder how long it’ll take before another shop moves in, but I don’t think they’d be able to outdo the eye catching look of December 25th’s windows!
Every Christmas, the shops all seem to try to outdo each other with the best seasonal window… but this year I think there’s a clear ‘winner’ in Bath. It’s Pulteney Kitchen on Bridge Street, with their amazing snowy scene!
Walking up Lansdown Road, Flowers of Bath certainly catches your eye with their fantastic wreaths.
The Loft in Bartlett Street has a relatively simple but still eye-catching display outside the entrance to their shop. Those lights managed to liven up a dreary rainy afternoon.
The work has already started on what is expected to be the new Metro Bank (taking over part of the building M&S have), but this seagull decided that the hoarding was a suitable look-out point.
Not the easiest of scenes to photograph without people and vehicles – maybe I need to be in Queen Square at a quieter point in the day?
Most places have taken down their lights, but the tree in Kingsmead Square is still looking great with its lights. Who says tree lights are just for Christmas?
Walking along Union Street towards Milsom Street, the lights in the new cafe above Maison Georges LARNICOL caught my eye. I tried to time my photo to not show the staff member who was walking past the windows.
