After the rain

After our visit to the Bath Festival of Motoring on Fathers’ Day weekend, we headed over to the Lansdown Park and Ride to look at the view.

Looks like the rain is heading our way – there’s a much better view on a clearer day!

And to prove how much rain we had, the steps had turned into a waterfall…

Supercars at the Festival of Motoring

It’s not just classic cars at the Bath Festival of Motoring – there were also supercar rides running on a regular basis. These supercars ranged from a 1971 Datsun 240z, to a 2007 Porsche Boxster, and from the sound of them pulling out onto the main road, it was a popular feature of the show!

Up go the Umbrellas

It wouldn’t be a Festival of Motoring that I’ve been to, if it didn’t rain at least once during the afternoon, and of course this year ran true to form!

Driving around the parade ring with an umbrella up doesn’t seem the easiest of tasks!

Once the sun came out again, the rain quickly evaporated off the tents, making it look like the food stalls were steaming.
