Any frequent visitor to the Abbey Churchyard will no doubt recognise this skeleton, which is advertising for the Bizarre Bath evening walks. He’s been given a seasonal look, with a small cross and a display of daffodils in the bike’s basket.
Riverside
Since the covering over the bridge between Homebase and Sainsbury’s was removed, you certainly get a better view of the river. Previous years people have spotted otters swimming in the river, but I’ve not managed to spot one yet.
Unique Street Entertainment?
Not the first scene that came to mind when I thought of heading down Milsom Street today, but I just had to stop and watch this chap playing the violin while walking up and down a tightrope today!
A Sign of Spring
You wouldn’t know from looking at these daffodils that we had snow last week! I spotted these at the bottom of Margaret’s Hill today.
More Snow!
Snow Hill was living up to its name – it seemed the best way to head down the road was either on foot, or if you were feeling adventurous, by sledge!
A Snowy Scene….
Yes you read that right, two days into Meteorological Spring and it’s snowing! We decided to not even attempt to venture out other than to clear the snow from the paths so we could get some food out for the birds.
I did, however, get this photo of Solsbury Hill, which has been hiding behind low cloud and falling snow at random points during the day so far.
