Love it or hate it, they’re setting up the Christmas Market ready for November 22nd. However, because the Abbey Footprint project means that Kingston Parade is closed, the Christmas Market will be spreading out to include part of Milsom Street as well.
A Final Look at the Christmas Market
It’s almost the last day for the Bath Christmas Market for this year but I couldn’t resist a photo of the stalls in front of the Abbey.
And the Christmas Market wouldn’t be the same if you didn’t get a photo of Father Christmas.
Back to the Christmas Market
Back to the Christmas Market, where there were a few less crowds today. First stop, outside the Pump Rooms where the ‘silver man’ wasn’t surrounded by quite so many people as normal.
Then on to York Street, where you can just about make our the moon glow above the market’s string of lights.
And finally, down to Southgate, to see the Christmas Market stalls, and the Southgate lights (which look somewhat fancier than those in the rest of the city!).
It’s Snowing at the Christmas Market?
Adding to the seasonal appearance of the Christmas Market, Bath Street has its very own fake snow blowing through the air…
accompanied by cries of “It’s Snowing!” (although I’m not sure anyone was fooled!).
It’s surprisingly challenging to take a decent photo of the Abbey, with the hustle and bustle of the Christmas Market, but I managed to get these two without getting caught up in the crowds.
Bath Christmas Market
Love it or hate it, the Bath Christmas Market certainly provides some interesting photo opportunities.
